| The annual Hopkins Day festival was on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd. |

| It wasn't as big as the Mango Fest, but it was still fun to check out on Saturday afternoon. |

| We heard later that the second day was even bigger than the first - guess we should have gone back on Sunday. |

| Under the big tent a DJ played some music, and they held contests (watermelon eating, cassava bread eating, etc.) |

| There were food, drink and craft vendors. Sabrina and Cara made a new discovery - corn & cassava cakes (gluten free). |
