| Our beach walk started at Luba Laruga, one of our favorite cool spots. Several friends joined us there. |

| As usual, we split a meal because it's too much food for one person. |

| After lunch we continued our walk north on the beach. |
 |
| One friend's son came on the walk, so we had to stop at Nice Cream for dessert. |
 |
| Several of us enjoyed a treat there. Cara tried the Belizean Sugar Corn ice cream in a cassava waffle bowl, and it was good. |

| Jetski rentals are a new and somewhat controversial addition to Hopkins. |
 |
| We had to take a picture of some nice art along the way that we somehow never noticed before. |

| We have seen it much better and much worse than this. The beach comes and goes... |

| Sadly, this natural area is set for future development. |

| We made it all the way to "Hawaii" before sunset. |

| On the walk back (by road) we noticed some people decided to clear out this dead tree by burning it instead of cutting it down. The picture didn't turn out very well, but it was kind of cool to see the tree burning from the inside out. |
