| It was a rare, really hot day in Hopkins (high 90s), and everyone, including the dogs were at the beach taking a swim. |

| We spent much of the day chilling at Luba Laruga, one of our favorite beachside spots. |

| Several friends showed up, so we stayed for a while enjoying the shade, while others enjoyed the water. |

| Later we walked with friends Pam and Oli to pick up their son at his friend's house. We stayed there for a while and were amazed by the view from their top deck. |

| We were even treated by the sight of crepuscular rays. |
