2-18-2016 Farewell to Diana & Gernot

Gerry and Diana had to return to Germany, so Pam and Oli wanted to throw a little party for
them. Here Pam is making some sushi rolls (regular and vegetarian). You can also see the stack
of eggrolls she made, ready to fry.

Diana was preparing ingredients for spring rolls, and Gerry was making the peanut dipping sauce.

Beautiful, colorful, fresh ingredients for spring rolls (carrots, jicama, cabbage, cucumber,
chicken, mint, basil, lettuce, maybe something else)

Spring rolls in the making

Lovely finished product

It was a huge spread of delicious food - in addition to the Asian dishes (sushi, eggrolls, spring rolls, veggie dumplings) there
were potatoes and goulash in honor of the Germans.

Oli is building a miniature golf course behind their bar and cabanas, and he had just received
his shipment of putters that evening, so we got to be the first to try them out on the first 9 holes
of the course.

Each hole is named after something in Belize - this one is called "Barrier Reef", and you're
trying to make the ball ride up the inside of the "wave" and drop into the boat.

This one is "Xunantunich", and you have to get it up the ramp into the temple.

"Victoria Peak" is a tough one.

I believe this one is called "Caves Branch"

"Blue Hole" can also be tough since the hole is on the back side of the rock feature.

Pam and Oli's cat Boots became an added hazard on the "Blue Hole"

It was a really fun evening with friends. Safe travels Gerry and Diana! We enjoyed meeting you and experiencing some amazing adventures together.
