9-2-2014 Green Drinks networking

All over the world people come together and have a beer and talk about how they can improve their footprint on the environment.

They have a speaker or two and then people just talk and exchange info.

The Topic of Green drinks on this day was:

Tonight’s Green Drinks is at Migration Brewing. Our topic is on “hyperlocal”. We have two speakers tonight:

Stacey Givens, of The Side Yard Farm & Kitchen and edible Portland’s 2014 Local Hero Award winner come address the group on the “State of Portland Urban Agriculture”.

Ryan of JRA Construction, who performed Migration’s remodel with local materials.

We failed to get pictures of the meeting, but our friend Justin also attended.  Afterwards we got something to eat just down the street where four small restaurants share a nice common outdoor seating area.  So, Justin got a veggie burger, Eric got tacos, and Cara got Indian food, yet we all got to sit and enjoy it together.
