9-6-2015 River tube float trip in Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary

Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary is beautiful, and a float trip on the river is always fun, so I (Cara) had to take Gabby.

Cockscomb Basin is the world's first jaguar preserve, though you are unlikely to see one there, especially during the day.

I took several pictures and a video with our GoPro camera in its waterproof case.

You can just see the exit signs in the distance.

Looking back at Gabby as she approached the take-out.

Success!  We had a lot of fun, though we didn't have time to check out another waterfall.

Here is my brief video of our river float trip:

Just off the road on the way out of Cockscomb Basin is a cool old plane wreck that the jungle is now claiming.  You won't see
that many places, so I had to show Gabby.

That night we went to Loggerheads Pub for dinner and Rock 'n Roll Bingo!

Gabby was the big winner at bingo, though we both ended up winning free drinks.
