Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary is beautiful, and a float trip on the river is always fun, so I (Cara) had to take Gabby. |
Cockscomb Basin is the world's first jaguar preserve, though you are unlikely to see one there, especially during the day. |
I took several pictures and a video with our GoPro camera in its waterproof case. |
You can just see the exit signs in the distance. |
Looking back at Gabby as she approached the take-out. |
Success! We had a lot of fun, though we didn't have time to check out another waterfall. |
Here is my brief video of our river float trip:
Just off the road on the way out of Cockscomb Basin is a cool old plane wreck that the jungle is now claiming. You won't see that many places, so I had to show Gabby. |
That night we went to Loggerheads Pub for dinner and Rock 'n Roll Bingo! |
Gabby was the big winner at bingo, though we both ended up winning free drinks. |
